Giving an agent full access is where theory meets consequences. I tried similar autonomy levels and quickly learned that boundary design matters more than raw intelligence. The safest pattern for me was progressive autonomy: start narrow, expand permissions only after repeated reliable runs, and require explicit escalation for irreversible actions. That approach kept momentum while preventing expensive mistakes. I wrote up the operational setup and what actually broke during overnight autonomous sessions: https://thoughts.jock.pl/p/my-ai-agent-works-night-shifts-builds The rollback strategy ended up being as important as the model choice.
